Reminder for I AM Test Administrators (TAs) - Part 1 and Part 2 Must Be Administered Across Two Days

Apr 6, 2021

This is a reminder for TAs that when administering I AM tests, Part 1 and Part 2 must be completed on separate days. Once item 28 has been completed in Part 1 of any I AM assessment, a “Waiting for Approval” screen will appear on the student’s device. The TA must deny the student by selecting the red X on the TA Interface to prevent the student from beginning Part 2. The student and TA may continue to Part 2 of the assessment at least one day after the completion of Part 1.

In addition, students and TAs should only complete one part of one subject area test per day. It is required that a student and TA complete one subject area assessment (across two separate days) before moving on to another subject area assessment.
